In the below screenshot, the option of 'Digitally Sign' is also greyed out (unable to click on it) in Adobe Acrobat Pro DC (Version : 17.012.20098). In my other two computers in which I am able to digitally sign using my certificate based signature, I have never signin to Acrobat Reader DC. As you can see in 'Fill & Sign Tools' the option to 'Place Signature' is greyed out (unable to click on it) in Adobe Reader 11 (Version : 11.0.10).

According to other information I have read, the ability to sign using older versions of Reader require the PDF to be saved as a Reader Extended PDF. I'm also not able to diactivate my Acrobat Reader DC account. If we simply save a PDF document, users with Reader DC can not sign it because the 'Digitally sign' option across the top of the Certificates bar is greyed out.

I'm also not able to sign digitally using certificate based signature in PDF in one of my computer having Window 10.
